Consistency Is Key

I try to do something music-related every day.

Even if it's just changing the strings on my bass, consistency keeps me in practice of the craft of music production. Not every task will be enjoyable, creative, or even productive, necessarily.

But a commitment to consistency keeps my skills sharp so that on my most inspired days, I can really strike the right chord.

We all have slumps, blocks, and unexpected barriers, but there are very few things that can stand between me and at least one activity per day that will move me along my journey as a bedroom producer, and I believe that it's that approach to the craft that will make me the best bedroom producer I can be in the shortest amount of time.

This week I'll keep a journal of each daily music-related activity and share it with you next weekend.
